Liquidation Sales - After Christmas Spending - Women’s Clothing

When you think of your business model for sales in the holiday season, what do you think about? The day after Thanksgiving? The total sales between Thanksgiving and Christmas? You may well be forgetting one very important sales time, in the days right after Christmas.

Many retail sellers change gears the day after Christmas and try to clearance their holiday items then dream ahead to a spring line to sell. This is sad as there is a great market of people with money in hand who may well be willing to make a purchase if you are willing to let them.

These days more and more people are afraid to pick the wrong gift for someone during the holidays. Instead, they purchase gift cards, preloaded credit cards or just give cash as a present to make sure that person on their list gets something they really want.

People open these gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and then have a whole day or two to think about the kinds of things they will be buying once the stores are open again. By the time stores open again, that money will be burning a hole through their pockets just waiting to be spent.

So, what are you doing to get this money?

If you sell women’s clothing, you should be stocking up right now on the liquidation women’s clothing items that are popular and prepare yourself to make a lot of cash.

Retail Store

If you have a retail store, you should make sure you are going to have enough of the trendy items on the shelves to feed the appetite of your customers when they come in to shop. Remember, they have money to spend on something special for themselves. Make sure you have those somethings that everyone is clamoring for.

Online Sales

If you have an online store, you are in an even better position. You can have those things people want available on the days when they can’t go shopping in other stores. If you have an eBay shop, Christmas day and the days right after may have your shop filled with customers who really want to spend the money they have and know you will help them do it right from the comfort of their homes.

If you usually send out a newsletter, make sure to do so now letting shoppers know you will have something special available for Christmas Day, so you can cash in on all that Christmas cash that will be coming.
